"From January 1833, British forces occupied the islands, expelled the legitimate authorities in Argentina and replaced them. This was in peacetime and contrary to international law in force at the time, and was never recognized by Argentina. The General Assembly, in its resolution 2065, recognizes the existence of a sovereignty dispute for the United Kingdom of the Government of Argentina and the United Government and a sovereignty conflict. Find a peaceful and sustainable solution to the conflict as a way to decolonize the area."
