️🇮🇷 Iran's National Security Commission has approved additional sections of a proposed plan regulating security and the passage of vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.

According to Article 13, vessels that violated the regulations may face penalties according to Iran's Islamic Penal Code, seizure of 20% of the cargo or its value, and temporary detention until the penalty is paid.

The plan also calls for special judicial branches in maritime law and requires the General Staff of Iran's armed forces to submit quarterly implementation reports to the National Security Committee.
