️🇩🇪 An F-16 fighter jet crashed this afternoon (Tuesday) at the Spangdahlem base in West Germany.

According to reports, two F-16s took off before one of the planes went down. The pilot is believed to have ejected safely.

Locals reported seeing the jet rapidly losing altitude before a large plume of black smoke appeared near the runway.
