Peskov said that Russia wants a reform and expansion of the UN Security Council while preserving the permanent members, called Western sanctions on Russian citizens illegal, and said that Zelensky's recent statements about a ceasefire stem from the worsening battlefield situation and Ukraine's economic condition, and added that Moscow seeks a sustainable peace and not a ceasefire that 'does nothing'.
