️🇪🇹 Seven rebel groups fighting the Ethiopian government have formed an alliance aimed at ousting the government of Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed in Addis Ababa.

The coalition, called the Alliance for Survival, brings together the Fano militia in Amhara, the Oromo Liberation Army, the Tigray People's Liberation Front and four smaller groups based in Ogden, Afar and Nishangol-Gumuz.

The groups accuse the government of presiding over "war, genocide, mass destruction and absolute poverty" and claim that Ethiopia is in danger of disintegration.
