Xi will hold "in-depth exchanges" with Trump "on key issues concerning bilateral ties and global peace and development," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said in Beijing on Monday.

This will be Xi's first visit to the US since 2023, when he attended the APEC summit in San Francisco under US President Biden.
