️🇺🇸 US President Donald Trump says he has agreed to convert the planned Arc de Triomphe near the Arlington Memorial Bridge into a "high-level military complex/Arc de Triomphe" at the request of the US military and for national security purposes.

Trump said the complex would be designed to house and rapidly deploy large numbers of drones, with snipers located on the roof and extension and large quantities of sniper ammunition stored on site. He also claimed that Washington, D.C. is the only one of 59 "leading cities and capitals" in the world without a Triumphal Arch.

The planned arch was previously proposed as part of the US 250th anniversary projects near the Arlington Memorial Bridge.
