Andoril founder Palmer Lackey said he has discussed the issue with Trump and senior administration officials, but is still unsure when the package will be approved.

Trump described the arms package as a negotiating tool with China, ahead of his meeting with President Xi Jinping in Washington next week. Beijing continues to oppose US arms sales to Taiwan.
