🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia hosted the fourth Combined Maritime Forces Multinational Maritime Defense Coalition planning meeting in Jeddah, bringing together 154 representatives from naval forces, EU and Gulf planners and partners.

The coalition entered the operational readiness phase, when 28 liaison officers were deployed to coordinate joint operations, combine capabilities and prepare for maritime security missions.

The initiative aims to protect freedom of navigation, secure international shipping lanes and coordinate responses to threats to commercial vessels and maritime corridors.
