🇱🇧🇫🇷🇺🇸 Lebanese President Joseph Aoun met with Prime Minister Nawaf Salam to discuss developments in Lebanon, especially the continued Israeli attacks on villages and towns in the south.

Aon briefed Salam on his meetings in Paris with French President Emmanuel Macron and King Abdullah II of Jordan, as well as on the preparations for the international conference supporting the Lebanese army and internal security forces. He also congratulated Salam on the parliament's renewed confidence in his government.

The two leaders discussed Lebanon's participation in the UN General Assembly next week, where Salam will head the Lebanese delegation, the upcoming Washington meeting on Lebanon, and the subsequent cabinet review of the national budget.
