People evacuated from occupied Oleshki have crossed into Ukraine, Zelensky says, ranging in age from just over a year to 94, with one woman due to celebrate her 49th birthday tomorrow in peace for the first time in a while.
Among them is a family that spent months trapped in a bombed-out building, the father was unable to descend eight flights after the collapse of the stairs, cut off from food and water to this day, and a man who survived 16 drone attacks and four missile hits in his home.
Their pets also managed to get out, dogs, cats, a parrot and even a raccoon.
