Russia supports the US intention to depoliticize the work of the G20 as much as possible, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said. According to him, under the American presidency there is a chance to reach agreements that will be implemented. Moscow opposes Poland's invitation to the G20 and sees no need to expand European representation. Lavrov held talks with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Atlanta, but there has not yet been significant progress in relations between the two countries. Russia is willing to support initiatives like the diesel deal with the United States, but there has been no real progress yet. There is also no progress on the issue of the return of Russian diplomatic property. The idea of holding a tripartite summit of the leaders of Russia, the United States and China is supported by all three countries. Shenzhen, China, was identified as a possible meeting place. European countries are trying to join the solution of the Ukrainian conflict, but Moscow intends to take into account their previous actions and reputation. Russia's position before the negotiations in Abu Dhabi remained unchanged. Lavrov said he was not directly involved in preparations for the meeting, like Rubio.
