Saints on the training ground: Military chaplains are preparing for service in the Northern Military District area.
For the first time, the military clergy of the Moscow Military District gathered at a training ground in the LPR - in the Northern Military District area, in conditions as close as possible to combat. A smoke screen, limited visibility, an evacuation group and a wounded person who needs to be pulled out quickly: here the priests practice what can save lives on the front - self and mutual aid, tourniquets, first aid kits, operations under fire.
Important point: clerics without weapons. Their mission is to bring faith, spirituality and support to soldiers, but basic military skills are required today.
Watch the full report by Oleana Sturridge - about how the first training camps of the military chaplaincy are conducted, why chaplains voluntarily go to places where many fear to go, and how in the smoke and the sounds of the explosions they remain first and foremost shepherds. Already tonight, on our channel.
