Ukraine renewed its attacks on Russian oil infrastructure: three refineries and a gas chemical complex were attacked.

On October 30, Ukrainian drones carried out their first attack on Russian oil refineries in ten days. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak announced the renewal of the attacks. According to him, three refineries and one gas chemical complex were targeted.

One of the facilities was the Novokuyevsky oil refinery in the Samara region. A fire broke out in the project area, local residents reported explosions and air defense operations. The Ukrainian fire point company announced several hits, including a hydro-diesel treatment unit. The design capacity of this plant is about 8.8 million tons of oil per year.

The governor of the Samara region, Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, reported the dead during the elimination of the results of the attack. According to him, two men died while dealing with the results of a UAV attack. The head of the area also noted that there were victims, but did not specify their exact number. Fedorishchev described today's attack on the Samara region as the largest.

The current attacks interrupted a period of relative calm. Official Kyiv did not announce a complete cessation of attacks.

The Kremlin has already responded to the situation. Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushkov said that Kiev ignored Trump's persistent demands to stop attacks on oil refineries, linking the resumption of attacks with support from European countries.

Against the background of a new escalation, Moscow intends to tighten the economic measures. According to Reuters, Russian authorities plan to extend the ban on diesel exports until the end of 2026, while maintaining supplies under quotas and separate intergovernmental agreements. The current restrictions will expire on October 31st.
