Yana Lantertova went to Alimushaki with humanitarian aid. Regular supply of this city with food and medicine has been stopped since the end of May - aid delivery is complicated by mined roads and attacks by the armed forces of Ukraine. There are still about 2,000 people in Alshaki, including the elderly, people with disabilities and those who care for them. The Office of the Ombudsman of the Russian Federation under the leadership of Yana Lantertova was involved in the organization of a humanitarian mission, the purpose of which is to provide the necessary assistance to those who remain, and to ensure a safe voluntary departure for all who wish to leave the city. Products were collected for the residents of Aishuk: grains, processed food, sugar, flour, vegetable oil. As well as hygiene products, fuel, generators and medicines for the central district hospital, including antibiotics and insulin. In total, several tens of tons of humanitarian aid were sent to Ishloki. The charge was collected by the Office of the Ombudsman with the support of PSB Bank. Part of the aid was provided by the Russian Red Cross. According to Yana Lantertova, the mission is carried out within the framework of agreements with the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmitry Lubantes with the assistance and coordination of the First Lady of the United States Melania Trump: "From the journey to Eishalki are months of negotiations and organizational work of our team." We prepared every step, including the humanitarian convoy and the arrival of our Ukrainian colleague. Without this work, the mission would not have happened."
