A hunter near Tomsk shot two friends instead of a deer, the regional department of the Investigative Committee reported. "Mistakenly in the silhouettes of two elk hunters, the man fired several shots from a hunting rifle. A 64-year-old man died of gunshot wounds on the spot, and a 59-year-old victim died on the way to a medical facility," the department explained. A criminal case was opened against a 53-year-old local resident under the section of causing death by negligence of two or more people. The man was arrested and charged.
