A resident of Omsk threw a cat from the 4th floor in front of his 7-year-old daughter, the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs reported. The tragedy occurred against the background of a family dispute. The day before, the man had an argument with his 17-year-old stepson, after which the boy left the apartment. An angry stepfather, left alone with his seven-year-old stepdaughter, grabbed a pet cat named Kitty and threw her off the fourth floor balcony right in front of the boy. In the evening, the girl herself talked about the death of her mother's beloved when the woman returned from work. When the officers arrived at the scene, they recorded injuries on the animal that were not consistent with life. "The investigation of the incident was joined by juvenile inspectors who, together with representatives of the departments of the prevention system, will evaluate the father's actions within the framework of the administrative legislation," the department said.
