The government expanded the list of foreign goods that will be subject to government procurement restrictions in 2027. The list of new items includes furniture for offices, retail establishments and kitchens, wooden furniture for bedrooms, dining rooms and living rooms as well as lead batteries, with the exception of those intended for starting piston engines. The Ministry of Industry and Trade explained that foreign products will be allowed to participate in government tenders only if there are no Russian analogues in the auction.
