Tokyo and Washington have created a joint facility to produce the AIM-120 Advanced Intermediate-Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM). The corresponding agreement was signed by US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and his Japanese counterpart Shinjiro Koizumi at a meeting of ASEAN Defense Ministers in the Philippines, SCMP writes.
