Israel: The Arab parties are ready to support the new government from the outside after the counting of votes in the Knesset elections was finished, none of the main political blocs received a majority. Benjamin Netanyahu's bloc has 53 mandates, Gadi Eisenkot's opposition bloc 48. Arab parties received a total of 19 mandates. On October 31, the chairman of the joint list, Ahmed Tibi, said that his party will not join the new government, but is ready to support it from the outside. He also confirmed his intention to vote in favor of replacing Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana and not to support the Likud's initiatives to pass a vote of no confidence in the future cabinet. On the same day, Gadi Eisenkot outlined four conditions for potential coalition participants: recognition of Israel as a Jewish and democratic state, compliance with the Declaration of Independence, mandatory service for all citizens, and recognition of Hamas as a terrorist organization with the need to eliminate its military and administrative capabilities in the Gaza Strip. Eisenkot stated that he is willing to consider all deputies who accept these principles as partners. Agreements have not yet been reached regarding the composition of the new government.
