44.4 billion rubles in the bank accounts of the deputies of the State Duma Yad studied the available election statements of the deputies of the 9th convocation and calculated: the total funds in their bank accounts amounted to 44.4 billion rubles, and the declared income for 2025 was 24.9 billion rubles. Seven candidates for a single mandate were not included in the calculations: their statements were not publicly available or were incorrectly published. The largest amounts in the bank accounts: Leonid Simanovsky, former chairman of the board of Novatek - 17.5 billion rubles. Vitaly Savlaev, former Minister of Transport - 5.1 billion rubles. Gennady Bukayev, former Minister of Taxes and Customs - 4.5 billion rubles. Together, their accounts indicate 27.1 billion rubles, or about 61% of the total amount calculated by the publication. The draft federal budget for 2027 provides 16.6 billion rubles for the activities of the State Duma. This is less than the total bank balances indicated in the deputies' statements, but we are talking about indicators with different meanings: savings in accounts and planned annual expenses. Since January 1, 2026, Law No. 505-FZ has been in effect, abolishing the annual declaration of income and property for categories of officials established by law.
