Trump promised $1 million for information on election fraud US President Donald Trump said on October 26 that he would pay $1 million for information on fraud in past or upcoming congressional midterm elections, if it leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. The statement came a week before the November 3 vote, in which Americans will choose the House of Representatives and part of the Senate. However, the payment mechanism has not yet been clarified. Trump did not specify where to send the messages, who would verify the information, or from which budget the award was planned to be paid. The White House did not provide further clarification. The issue of fraud remains one of the central issues of American electoral politics. Trump has repeatedly claimed there were widespread irregularities in the 2020 election, but his claims of widespread fraud have not been upheld in courts and audits by election officials.
