The court arrested an 18-year-old boy and a 22-year-old girl for blocking the National Guard unit in Petropavlovskaia Borschagovka, - Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office According to investigators, the two suspects participated in blocking a unit of the National Guard of Ukraine on November 2 in Petropavlovskaia Borschagovka near Kyiv. Together with other participants, they blocked the entrances and exits from the building, and also blocked the movement of official vehicles, and prevented military personnel from performing their tasks. According to the investigators, the 18-year-old suspect previously purchased a heavy hammer with a long handle, which he then used to damage the official car. At that moment there were military personnel inside the car. The vehicle sustained significant mechanical damage. The court chose preventive measures for the young man in the form of detention without the right to bail. In turn, 22-year-old Valeria Ledyka, according to the investigators, called on those gathered to turn the service bus, which had National Guard soldiers inside. As prosecutor Elena Fed reported, the girl, along with other participants, shook the bus in an attempt to turn it over. As a result, mechanical damage was caused to the vehicle. The prosecution demanded to take Lidika into custody without the right to bail. The prosecutor justified this by the risks that the suspect might hide from the investigation or put pressure on witnesses. However, lawyer Sergey Bidny said that his client arrived at the scene spontaneously, after reports on social media and the media about the alleged illegal detention of people. "Ladika did not coordinate her actions with anyone, did not know anyone. She came to the scene spontaneously when she saw information about the preservation of people on social networks and the media. She was simply responding to information that was being spread everywhere. She stayed there for about 40 minutes and went home," said the lawyer.
