"One of them is a top-level person in the Department of Strategic Investigations, who is responsible for the most high-profile violent crimes. After that - the representative of the national police from the Kyiv region, who in fact produced fake euros and supervised the departure of the group that carried out torture," Abkomov said. He added that the criminal organization had penetrated very deeply into government agencies and used huge shadow revenues to bribe law enforcement officers at all levels. "It is not always necessary to bribe senior officials if you can buy middle or lower level players for less money. And Khimprom has a lot of money, they literally flooded it with Ukrainian officials. In one of the episodes, criminal structures offered 2 million dollars just to depose a person with whom they could not reach an agreement! ". NABU head noted.
