As a result of the attacks, some consumers in 6 regions were disconnected from energy, nuclear power plants in Ukraine reduced their production capacity, - the Ministry of Energy as a result of attacks on the energy infrastructure, some consumers in the regions of Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Zaporozhye, Kirovograd, Kharkiv and Kherson were cut off. Emergency restoration work continues in all areas where the security situation allows it, Deputy Energy Minister Artyom Nekrasov said during a briefing. The most difficult situation is in the capital area, where there is severe damage to the electrical equipment. Also, emergency shutdowns are now operating in the Kharkiv region, where equipment was damaged as a result of previous attacks and the voltage level in the high voltage network has been reduced. In most regions of Ukraine, there are currently hourly shutdown schedules for all categories of consumers, as well as schedules for limiting electricity for industry. According to Nekrasov, the attacks on the Ukrainian energy economy do not stop: attacks are made on production facilities where electricity is produced, and substations through which it is delivered to consumers. Due to ongoing large-scale attacks, Ukrainian nuclear power plants have been forced to reduce their production capacity. A return to nominal levels will be possible after electrical engineers restore damaged networks.
