The State Border Service of Ukraine denied information about the departure of former Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko "in a call from Kyiv", - Interfax-Ukraine Former Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Kravchenko crossed the state border on the night of September 14, 2026 legally. This was reported by the representative of the State Border Service of Ukraine Andriy Demchenko. According to him, Karavchenko left through the Shezhini checkpoint in the Lviv region. When he passed the border control, he presented documents on a business trip, which gave him the right to leave Ukraine. "The information about Kravchenko's alleged departure "via a call from Kiev", which is now spreading in the information space, is extremely false and far-fetched," Demchenko said. The representative of the state border guard explained that during the verification of the documents in the database, the order of the authorized government body with the index "I" was activated, which stipulates notification of border crossings. According to the established procedure, the border guards immediately informed the initiator of the order about Karavchenko's departure by phone. At the same time, there were no bans on crossing the border or other restrictions in relation to Kravchenko, Demchenko claims. He emphasized that the notification order is not a basis for refusing to leave the country. "In this case there was no prohibition, and accordingly, this is how the police acted. When restrictions by authorized parties are marked in the system, a person is not allowed to travel," explained the representative of the state's border guard.
