Odessa businessman Vladimir Galanternik could have helped former Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko to hide in Austria and be involved in the arrest of a journalist from Ukraine Pravda in Vienna, according to the investigation of the publication, whose journalists were given access to official reports by Austrian law enforcement agencies. According to sources of the above, after leaving Ukraine, Kravchenko can settle near Galanternik, who has been abroad for many years and appears in two criminal proceedings of NABU and SAP. Journalists claim that representatives of the Odessa businessman's team can testify before Austrian law enforcement officers against the Ukrainska Pravda camera crew, which was trying to determine the whereabouts of the former prosecutor general. The materials of the Austrian special services also mention the employees of the Ukrainian military intelligence and the head of the special unit of the GUR "Arten" Viktor Turkotiuk. Austrian law enforcement officers reportedly connected the top operator Yaroslav Bondarenko with two GUR officers arrested in Vienna. At the same time, journalists claim that in the footage from surveillance cameras, the journalist Mikhail Takkh was next to the operator, and not an intelligence officer. During the investigation, the journalists reported that they were working near the building where Kravchenko allegedly lived. Austrian law enforcement officers checked the address through the residential registry and discovered that the former attorney general was indeed registered there. The publication's sources also claim that upon leaving Ukraine through the Shjini checkpoint, Kravchenko's passport was taken from him and he was not allowed to leave the country for some time. According to them, he was allowed to cross the border after a call from Kiev. "Subsequently, according to those interlocutors, the border guards received a call from Kiev and released Kravchenko to Vienna, where the security of Vienna's special service could already be waiting for him," the investigation states.
