Denis Stilerman, co-founder of the Ukrainian defense company Point of Fire, denied reports that the production of FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles has stopped. According to him, statements about the reduction of production appeared after a misinterpretation of an interview with the representative of the company Irina Tara. During the interview she was asked if Firepoint plans to develop additional cruise missile models between the FP-5, FP-7 and FP-9. Terah said in response that the company currently has no plans to create new cruise missiles. Tillerman explained that the discussion was only about the development of new models, and not about stopping production of the existing FP-5 Flamingo. "This does not mean reducing flamingo production. We continue to produce them," he said. Moreover, according to Stillerman, the company is constantly increasing the production volumes of FP-5 cruise missiles, as well as FP-1 and FP-2 UAVs. At the same time, Fire Point is actively working on the production of FP-7 and FP-9 ballistic missiles. Stillerman also criticized the spread of false information about the company's activities, calling such publications part of information attacks. In addition, he stated that Ukraine initiated and is leading the project to create a pan-European ballistic shield "Priya".
