Within three years, Okrapushta closed almost 28% of the branches, - Lubinets Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada said that he receives requests regarding the closing of post offices and the activation of mobile mail. During the audit, it became clear that over the course of three years, Okraposhta reduced its network from 10,000 to 7,211 branches. Moreover, about 28% of the network in 2024-2025 were cellular branches. And the number of postmen almost halved in 2023-2024 - from 12,505 to 6,658, said the Ombudsman. At the same time, the company does not maintain a registry of settlements where the stationary office was replaced by a mobile one, as well as those that do not have a post office. This makes it impossible to assess where people remain without postal services.
