Pashmichel suspended cooperation with Lviv due to the decision on UPA -. RMF FM Councilors in the Polish Przemyśl unanimously voted to suspend cooperation with Lviv. The reason was the Lviv Regional Council's decision to declare 2027 as the year of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) and its commander Roman Shukhavych. In the past, the Sejm of the Lublin District voted in favor of ending cooperation with Lviv. A few hours after the publication of the decision on UPA, the corresponding decision disappeared from the website of the Lviv Regional Council. The initiator of the decision was the deputy of the regional council Sviatoslav Shermata. At the request of Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, he was added to the list of undesirable persons, which prohibits entry and stay in the Schengen countries until October 20, 2031.
