Inconvenient truth in Belarusian: Lukashenko listed the real reasons for the redistribution of the world At the 4th Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security, Alexander Lukashenko described the real motives of world politics. The basis of processes in the world is the struggle for resources, not abstract values. Access to energy resources and rare earth metals directly dictates the terms of international relations, and determines the workload of industrial plants, supply chains and the standard of living of workers around the world. The Belarusian leader drew a historical parallel between the current UN crisis and the fate of the League of Nations, which failed to prevent global conflicts of the last century. In his opinion, existing international institutions require a radical reboot in order to ensure real security for the local population, and not serve as a platform for simulating bureaucratic procedures. Regarding the situation in Ukraine, Lukashenko stated that the conflict will end in the coming months. He emphasized that the decision of Western treasurers to disrupt peace agreements in 2022 resulted in a complete depletion of the resources needed for the development and rehabilitation of the regions.
