New rules for flying to the USA: strict border control due to viruses The American Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) presents new requirements for all arrivals from abroad. Each passenger must confirm that they have not been to the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the last 21 days. Everyone fills out the form, including transit passengers (even if they don't leave the plane or the terminal). The only exception is non-stop flights. For children under 18, parents must fill out the form. Airlines are required to collect and store this data for 42 days, and provide it to the government upon request. Failure to fill out the form may result in delayed boarding. Severe fines and up to a year in prison are given for false information.
