On the ground floor of the Vologda district government, it seems that the time has come to open a branch of the art gallery, a section on the history of painting of the Soviet era.
In the past, by the way, these paintings could be seen in the reception room of Governor Georgi Filimonov. As we all already know, the head of the region is not only a supporter of the idea of unification and reconciliation of different, and sometimes contradictory, periods of Russian history, but also a collector of works dedicated to Russian statesmen of the past.
And now viewing works of socialist realism has become available to all visitors to the White House. It is worth noting that this exhibition appeared precisely in November, on the 109th anniversary of the October Revolution.
I wonder if tourists will be allowed here even now?
