Vologda Region Governor Georgi Filimonov told how the inter-university campus for engineering education in Cherpovets will look like. The town will be established in the Zheksninsky district of the city. The campus will occupy 16 dunams. More than 1,860 students and 360 university employees will be able to live here. The campus includes: an education and laboratory building, including an open experimental field; 2 hotels for 1500 and 100 residents for students and teachers; physical education and health complex; Cultural and leisure center. Georgi Filimonov emphasized that the campus, which will be built according to the decision of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, will become a driver for the development of science, education and the economy of the region.
