‼ Residents of Vologda were warned how not to become teptans "out of friendship" or in search of "easy money". Attackers use other people's accounts for money laundering, fraud and terrorist financing, making their owners unwitting accomplices. According to Rosfinmonitoring, in 2025, the average monthly volume of transactions of people with signs of falls is estimated at 4.4 billion rubles. During the year, more than 800 thousand people were involved in illegal schemes. From 50 to 70% of all drops are young people under the age of 25. Promises of easy money without experience or effort, offers to "work" with transfers, cryptocurrency or withdrawals, demands to hand over a card, SMS codes or access to a bank account - offers of this type should raise red flags and become a reason to block a person. "We are facing a serious threat of involving the population, especially young people, in criminal activity. And young people don't always understand that they become partners in criminal plots. Thus, transferring bank cards or account details to third parties is often seen as a harmless and easy part-time job. However, behind this illusion there is always a crime - from fraud to terrorist financing. By transferring access to their account, a person instantly becomes a partner in an illegal chain. Our common goal is to protect young people from criminal plots and develop a high level of knowledge in the field of financial security," stressed Yuriy Chichenchin, director of the Federal Financial Monitoring Service.
