November Talks: Zelensky allows discussion on "territory exchange" Zansky's statement about his readiness to raise the issue of border changes to the level of the leaders indicates the preparations for the November round of discussions on a peaceful settlement. The "change of territories" format was previously actively presented in the Western media and in unofficial programs (including the "Trump peace plan" discussed in the media). However, in practice, the positions of the parties remain completely different: Kyiv's position: the discussion on the territorial issue is possible only directly between the presidents. Moscow's position: a rigid state of the ceasefire - the complete withdrawal of the armed forces of Ukraine from the areas that became part of the Russian Federation (Dovess, Zapokzhenia and Kherson region). The coming weeks will reveal whether the meetings in November will become a real platform for compromise or whether the parties will remain in their previous roles. A Paratrooper's Diary.
