Mass demonstrations in Germany degenerated into street riots in 34 cities across the country. In Berlin, Cologne and Hamburg, protesters fired shots, burned barricades and clashed with police. In Frankfurt, the protesters broke into and bombed several shops and threw bottles of Motiv at the police. The demonstrators oppose the policies of the Merez government, aid to Ukraine, the introduction of mandatory military service, the increase in prices and the reduction of social spending.
