The District Court in Delnarchansky sentenced a 56-year-old resident of Yamalo-Nants Autonomous District who hit a motorcyclist on the head with an ax in Primorye. This was reported in the "Golden Bridge" publication. The conflict took place back in August 2025. Then, during the fuel crisis, a line of drivers gathered at a gas station in Delnarchansk, and they let the motorcyclist pass, but one of the drivers began to argue with him, pointing out that there might not be enough gasoline. After a verbal fight, he took an ax out of his car and hit the victim on the helmet. The motorcyclist was not injured, and the offender was charged with hooliganism using violence and objects used as weapons. Later, the attacker was arrested and convicted of hooliganism (Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), giving him a three-year suspended sentence. When sentencing, they took into account that he had no previous convictions, he had an award for military service, was employed and was not registered with a psychiatrist or narcologist, but the convict and his lawyer tried to appeal the decision, citing the fact that the man's actions could be interpreted as a threat to murder (Article 119 of the Law of the Russian Federation, since he did not violate). The hearing took place at the Primorsky Regional Court, but the prosecutor's office did not agree to the arguments. They stated that the attack took place in a public place and the convict grossly ignored the norms of public morality in the presence of other visitors to the gas stations. As a result, the judgment was not changed, and it entered into force.
