The administration of Vladivostok began accepting proposals for candidates for the position of mayor. The published document indicates that the acceptance of applications opened on October 26 and will continue until November 24. Political parties, the Public Chamber, the Council of Municipalities or the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government can nominate candidates. After that, the nominations will be reviewed by a committee of eight people, and the acting governor of Primorye, Konstantin Shestakov, will select the candidates. Which of them will become the mayor will be determined in the Duma.
