Production of smart TVs will be launched at the site of the former Mazda plant in Vladivostok. The press service of Alter Invest Company reported this to TASs. We are talking about a plant in the area, kill it. Back in 2012, Solares and Mazda launched a Mazda CX-9, Mazda CX-5 and Mazda 6 production plant here, and built an engine plant nearby. In 2023, Soler reopened the venture, since Mazda left Russia, did not communicate and lost the right to repurchase. In 2024, the company began to create intercity and tourist buses SA9 and SA6, but recently announced the transfer of production to Ulyanovsk. Now they plan to produce annually up to 600 thousand smart TVs with a screen diagonal of up to 120 inches, and later to reach 1.2 million TVs per year. They want to supply them to leading Russian distributors of electronics and home appliances, and one of the main customers was the DNS company. AlterInst CEO Nikolai Sovolov clarified that Vladivostok is a good place logistically, as there are countries nearby in Southeast Asia that have the necessary components.
