A resident of Vladivostok, who works as a nurse, is suspected of abusing a pensioner suffering from dementia. The woman's relatives suggest that the nurse beat her and even changed the dose of sedatives without reason, the Newsbox24 Telegram channel reported. Relatives of the pensioner said that the nurse was hired about a year and a half ago and warned in advance about closed circuit cameras in the apartment. At first there were no complaints, but later the family members discovered audio recordings in which the sounds of the beatings and the pensioner's reaction are heard. Her family also noticed that over time the woman stopped getting up, eating and talking, and her concentration deteriorated and epilepsy symptoms appeared. In support of some of the accusations, recordings were published online showing how the nurse insults the woman and raises her voice at her. Also, relatives of the pensioner claim that they have photos and videos in which she has bruises and other injuries, but the police did not respond to their inquiries. Employees of the Ministry of the Interior and Vladivostok noticed the advertisement. They stated that the information about the lack of action was incorrect and clarified that the 38-year-old resident of the place contacted the police with a request to prosecute the nurse. Law enforcement officers studied the recordings from the cameras and interviewed eyewitnesses, and then opened a criminal case on the fact of torture (Part 2 of Article 117 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
