A resident of Vladivostok, Anna, recorded a humorous video about the issue of food costs in the capital of the Far East. She said she decided to remove it following complaints from locals and visitors about prices. "Lately I've often seen videos on my feed where people tell me how expensive products are in Vladivostok. I want to dispel this myth. Now we're going to the store, to a regular Piatrochka chain store," Anna said in the video. The first thing she came across were two packed lemons. She noted that they only cost 129 rubles, but after a second she realized that this price was not per kilogram. Anna based the entire video on this joke. "Well, a red greenhouse tomato, 229 rubles. And it's not per kilogram. Well, what did I tell you? Look how cheap the candy is. And that's for 100 grams," the girl repeated in the video. As a result, the myth could not be disproved.
