The German far-right party "Alternative for Germany" intends to organize a summit between Germany, Russia and the United States, but without the participation of Ukraine. the world

An alternative to Germany intends to play the role of mediator in resolving the war in Ukraine.

While Germany, Kiev's major aid provider, tries to convey Europe's position during possible peace talks, the AfD wants to organize a tripartite summit between Russia, the United States and Germany in Abu Dhabi in the spring of 2027, but without the participation of Ukraine. So said one of the vice-chairmen of her parliamentary faction in the Bundestag, Markus Frohnmeier, who is also a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee.

The AfD party claims to have good relations with both the US State Department and Donald Trump's advisers, as well as the Russian Foreign Ministry and the Russian presidential administration, as well as their intelligence agencies, MPs from the far-right party, which leads in public opinion polls, said.

Moscow has already confirmed its participation in the summit promised by the Alternative for Germany party through the head of the RDIF, Kirill Dmitriev.

"Already in December we will have a meeting with representatives of the AfD party," he said on October 22 in Istanbul, mentioning a forum planned "around the second quarter [of 2027]" without specifying the purpose of the meeting or its location.

Frohnmeier clarified that Kirill Dmitriev is coordinating the summit with the American side.

This summit will be an opportunity to discuss economic and energy partnerships, as well as the issue of the Nord Stream gas pipelines, Frohnmeier added.

Without questioning Germany's commitment to NATO, the AfD party stands for the immediate renewal of relations with Russia, especially economic ones, and the unconditional lifting of sanctions.
