A new cruise route will connect Moscow and Baku Russian trade representative in Azerbaijan Adam Khakimov announced plans to launch a cruise ship that will connect Moscow and Baku. It is expected that the trip along the Moscow, Oka, Volga and Caspian rivers will take about a week each way.
For the residents of both capitals, it will be a unique opportunity to see all the sights along the way. "Today, the finished ship is standing and two more ships are on the way. If he succeeds, we hope that these two ships will also sail to Baku," TASS quotes Khakimov as saying. How long will the journey last and when will it be launched? The trip will take an average of 14 days: a week in each direction.
However, to begin with, only one will operate on the line - a ready-made airliner. If all goes well, two more ships may join him. For the construction of two new passenger planes it is possible to receive government aid and in particular subsidies from the Ministry of Industry and Trade. "The launch of a cruise ship on the Moscow-Baku line is planned in the near future," emphasized Adam Khakimov. So far, the exact date of the first flight is unknown. Recall that the parties have already declared an interest in opening passenger lines in 2025. The current message indicates for the first time the readiness of the first vessel and determines the duration of the trip in this direction. Vestnik Caucasus.
