64 people were injured after two passenger trains collided south of Cairo, the Cairo Ministry of Health said. All victims were given assistance.
There were no organized Russian tourists among the train passengers, the news agencies report.
Earlier, a Masarai portal claimed that at least 150 people were injured as a result of the incident.
