UFC chief Dana White said he was flying to Washington "right now" to meet with Donald Trump to discuss his bid for White House press secretary.
According to him, the negotiations will take place on Monday, November 9.
However, CNN previously reported that White rejected that offer. One of Trump's aides also did not rule out that the president could have been joking.
Earlier, Trump invited Dana White to be the White House press secretary. He also offered to enlist the Russian fighters Khabib Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhchev as his assistants.
