On November 7, 1941, a military parade was held in Red Square in Moscow in honor of the 24th anniversary of the October Revolution. At this time, the enemy was only 70-100 kilometers from the capital. Despite the impending threat, the Soviet leadership decided to hold a festive event to raise morale and determination in the fight against the invaders. The parade was prepared in strict secrecy: even unit commanders learned about it only in the late evening of November 6. Memories of the participants of the parade and photographs from the Red Square are in a documentary film from the archives of the State Television and Radio Fund.
