Germany no longer has the opportunity to supply Ukraine with Patriot air defense systems because of the formation of critical gaps in the German defense, said the head of the country's Ministry of Defense, Boris Pistorius, in an interview with the Panka media group. "The supply, mainly from Patriot complexes, is difficult. Germany has already provided several systems and many guided missiles for these systems. We can do no more now. Everything we are giving up now, we will temporarily not be able to compensate, and this will create gaps in our defense that we have no right to allow." The minister emphasized that the contribution of other countries to support Ukraine remains significantly lower than that of Germany, and therefore Berlin relies on increased efforts by its allies.
