The central bank has established a list of cryptocurrencies that may be available to non-accredited investors. This included Bitcoin, Ethereum and USDT. The regulator's order will enter into force on November 17 - from that moment, the stock exchanges have the right to introduce these assets into public circulation. Non-accredited investors will be able to purchase cryptocurrencies through various intermediaries - a broker, administrator or crypto exchange - both on the exchange and in over-the-counter markets. The limit on purchases through one intermediary is no more than 300 thousand rubles per year. Accredited investors will have access to all crypto assets without restrictions. Before a transaction, every investor, regardless of status, should undergo tests and know the risks of investing in cryptocurrencies, the central bank noted.
