Russia and Iran have signed documents on the construction of the Rasht-Astra railway line, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Nikitin told reporters. The section will connect the railway networks of Russia and Iran and open a smooth route for the supply of goods to the Persian Gulf and the countries of the South Asian region.
